ABOUT ME

BIO

I am a Western New York artist with a M.S. in Art Education. As a member of Western New York Artist Group, Centennial Art Center of Hamburg, and Springville Center of the Arts I actively show my work at members shows as well as private galleries. Locally I have had my illustrations published in In “Trees of Surprise” an anthology. My murals can be found throughout New York at many institutions such as, The Buffalo Irish Center, many People Inc. Sites,

Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Big Tree Elementary,

Cloverbank Elementary School, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School,

Wayside Presbyterian Church, Buffalo MRI, Gilda’s Club,

Buffalo Street Grill, The Coyote Café, UB Student Commons and private homes.

In Florida my murals can be found in private homes.

WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUE

My paintings reflect my love for the visual beauty of the world in which we live. I find our world to be a magical place both visually & metaphysically. Working from photos that I take on site I try to capture the mood of that place in a timeless way.

I work in acrylics because I feel that it leaves less of a carbon footprint and is less likely to negatively impact the environment.

My mosaics are my way of making beauty from the discarded as they  are from found objects and are also less of a carbon foot print.
